Its official, our local Olympic athlete Justin Kripps has qualified and been named to the Canadian Olympic Team for 2 events. He finished the qualifying races ranked 9th in the world for 4man bobsleigh and 11th in the world for 2-man.

This is quite remarkable since it is only his second season on the World Cup circuit as a pilot (driver). And they have made history as it is the first time Canada has had 3 teams qualify in bobsleigh. (Only 3 countries can have 3 teams in the Olympics bobsleigh)!

The Summerland, B.C., native and his Edmonton brakeman Bryan Barnett also won GOLD in the recent World Cup two-man race in Konigssee, Germany!

We wish him the best of luck in Sochi 2014 and will be cheering him on here at Pharmasave!!
